Beach Training on Sunday, Sept. 24th, 2017 at Stinson Beach

Join us as we Bid Farewell to Summer with Karate Training on the Beach
at Stinson Beach on Sunday, Sept. 24th, 2017 from 9am to 1pm. FREE

With the sand between our toes and the ocean in our sights, we will practice Kihon (basic techniques), Kata (Forms),
​and other fun activities to boost our technique, endurance, stamina, and spirits.
Join us as we bid farewell to summer with karate training on the beach and
​stay for a friendly potluck after training.

Details:

• Training begins approx. 9:15am. Parking lot opens usually right at 9am. Click here for directions. 
• Parking is free, but we recommend arriving early to get a good parking spot, especially on sunny days. 
• Training goes until 11:30 or Noon. Potluck begins immediately afterwards. Please sign up for something on the Potluck signup Sheet. 
• Wear layers; it can be quite cool if foggy or warm if sunny.
• Wear sunscreen. Hats and glasses are discouraged. No jewelry please.
• Bring a dry change of clothes and towels to dry off with. Bring two garbage bags- one for your wet gi and one for your wet belt, so it doesn't bleed on your gi. 
• No training fees, but please bring something for the potluck and a positive, ready-to-train attitude. We will create a post for potluck signups.​

We practice mainly Shotokan Karate, but training will be appropriate for anyone training in Karate.
