The Bay Area Cities Karate & Kobudo Championships were held on Sunday, November 12th, 2017 in San Mateo. Thank you to Shihan Bernard Edwards for once again putting on a great tournament and for attracting a great group of competitors.
Many renowned martial artists were in attendance, including Sensei Leroy Rodriguez, Sensei Gene Tibon, Sensei Ricardo Llewelyn, Sensei Fred Castillo, Sensei Jon Keeling, Sensei Richard Sherrod, Sensei Jim Larkin, Sensei Bernardo Mercado, Sensei Al Igama, Sensei Antonio Delgado, Sensei Steve McCann, Sensei David LaVerne, Sensei Dianne LaVerne, Sensei Tom Kubiak, and many others... We are very privileged to have access to such breadth and depth of expert martial arts instructors. Kudos to Shihan Edwards for bringing such a great group of instructors and supporters together every year- always with the goal of creating excellent competition opportunities for competitors of all ages and experience levels.
