Hanshi Llewelyn and the Benicia Shotokan Karate Academy are hosting a "Welcome-to-Summer Beach Training" at Stinson Beach in Marin County on Sunday, June 5th, 2016 from 9am-12pm. The park opens at 9am- best plan is to arrive a little early to get good parking as it can fill up quickly particularly on clear, warm weather days. Please bring a change of clothes and a food item to contribute to the BBQ potluck after the training.
ISKA and Non-ISKA members are welcome ~ training appropriate for children thru adults of all ages. You may get wet and the ocean can still be quite cold in June. Wear layers under your gi that can get wet... Sunblock advised even in foggy conditions for those sensitive to the sun.
Training on sand is a great way to strengthen feet and leg muscles, work on balance, and have fun at the same time!
Be sure to join our Facebook event.
